The Sales Manager-Ireland/UK (time is predominantly spent in Ireland so we will need to be based here).
Will be responsible for managing a Sales Team and Key Accounts to achieve Sales targets and business performance objectives in line with my clients strategy.
This role requires travel within the designated territory.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or similar is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years Sales Management experience.
• Proven personal record of Sales success.
• Successful track record of People Management. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders including customers and colleagues.
• A knowledge of Agricultural markets is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of technical Products/Services with an ability to articulate complex concepts in a concise manner.
• Well-developed IT skills (MS Platforms, CRM, ERP, etc).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised and detail oriented.
• Time management and task prioritisation skills.
• Commercial Marketing and Merchandising experience.
• Implement and drive Sales Strategies and Plans to support sustainable business growth.
• Maintain existing business while identifying new opportunities including new customers, products and product categories.
• Manage the Sales team by setting detailed Annual Budgets while supporting and motivating them (through training, mentoring and leadership) to achieve their individual Sales budgets and performance
objectives. Conduct regular performance reviews.
• Key Account Management: build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs and provide solutions that meet/exceed their expectations.
• Negotiate Sales Agreements and generate effective written proposals and tender documents.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
• Track, analyse and report on the Sales Pipeline versus Budget. Develop, monitor, and present Forecasts for production scheduling and budgeting.
• Lead Sales meetings and attend/contribute to management meetings.
• Manage customer and market data via CRM and other Sales tools.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of Products and Services.
• Assist the Marketing team to develop marketing strategies/plans, drive effective campaigns/promotionsthat generate Leads, promote brand awareness, and ultimately increase market share.
• Assess your teams training needs and create career development opportunities for all.
• Lead continuous Sales Process improvements.
• Represent the company at networking events, trade exhibitions and business conference/meetings.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activity.
• Ensure compliance with compnay policies and procedures.
