My client is currently recruiting a Security Manager working as part of the Security Team to organise and oversee all security operations.
The ideal candidate will be a results driven, self-motivated team player with excellent client relationship skills who works well under time restraints
• 5+ years working in logistics or a similar industry.
• Proven track record in Security Operations Management.
• A critical eye for security risks.
• Previous investigation experience from inception to execution
• Experience in Third Party Contractor Management
• Experience in conducting Security Audits.
• Flexibility with regard to working hours
• Excellent Verbal, Written Communication and Analytical skills.
• Excellent IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• High Level of current PSA Regulations and compliance.
• Leadership / People Management Skills.
• Ensure that all security operations are conducted in a legally compliant, professional, ethical and profitable manner.
• Provide on-site guidance to Security Officers as required.
• Provide assistance, support and advice to security professionals.
• Conduct periodic training exercises for security officers as needed.
• Coordinate staffing schedules /weekly roster.
• Work closely with the operation to ensure efficient, effective and compliant operations of all designated accounts.
• Play a central role in ensuring a safe, healthy and secure workplace.
• Meet with clients to proactively address security, emergency and safety matters.
• To carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
