    PlaceMe Recruitment looking for an internationally experienced and well-travelled VP of Sales to develop strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction. 

     

    In this role, you will be responsible for building, growing and leading a high-performance sales team within the assigned region. You will also execute regional strategy by leading and managing the Regional Sales Managers in a high volume, transaction acquisition environment whilst providing leadership, motivation and mentorship to Sales Representatives.

    Qualifications

    In this role you will:

    • Monitor and drive the team’s performance, ensuring that all team members are receiving regular feedback, encouraging those that are not achieving and where necessary performance management of underperforming employees
    • Manage sales forecasting and sending necessary reports to the Managing Director and other executives who have a strong vested interest in the success of EMEA Sales
    • Strong collaboration with the Marketing team to ensure the sales efforts are aided by a strong flow of qualified marketing driven prospects
    • Drives growth, profitability (current revenue, future growth pipeline, etc.) and cash flow of assigned account(s).
    • Develops deep understanding of the direction and strategy of assigned account(s), external trends, competitive activities, and develops and implements an outside-in account strategy
    • Provides input and adheres to critical commercial processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency, metrics & KPIs, and business review cadence within commercial team
    • Performs account-specific business reviews, internally and externally
    • Locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing new business relationships within the assigned accounts
    • Researching and analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities
    • Driving a consultative approach to sales to accurately capture client requirements and build tailored solutions around very specific requirements.

    Responsibilities

    What you'll bring:

    • Leadership and management of the EMEA Sales Managers to ensure a strong team culture and overall performance
    • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s to achieve the regions overall sales targets
    • Strong experience in leading, managing and motivating successful sales teams in a high volume, transaction acquisition environment
    • Strong track record of high quality hiring, mentorship and development of sales personnel
    • An in-depth knowledge of the sales process
    • Must be self-motivated and self-directed
    • High standard of written and spoken English
    • Proven customer service mindset
    • Excellent communication skills – oral, aural and written
    • Positive attitude
    • Ability to speak multiple languages a plus
    • Must be available to travel
    • Experience in training in both the group and individual environments
    • A track record in and passionate about managing, coaching, developing and motivating sales manager’s is very important
    • Experience of using CRMs, in particular Salesforce.com, to aid and track the sales processes and reporting on sales performance and forecasting
    • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; the ability to engage at different levels of the business
    • An understanding of the technology and SaaS business model
