    OFFICE MANAGER

     

    PlaceMe Recruitment seek an Office Manager to help manage the day to day office operations in our clients fast-paced, fun-filled workplace in Galway.

     

    The Office Manager is responsible for organising all of the activities that facilitate the smooth running of the our client’s office mainly through facilities, social events and supplies management.

     

    The ideal candidate is a outstanding example of a confident team leader that is warm and approachable.

    The major goals of the Senior Office Manager are to maintain the highest levels of operations standards, staff retention, driving revenue, minimizing costs & overseeing budgets.

    Qualifications

     

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    • Responsible for managing the office. Ordering stationary, supplies, liaising with facilities teams and any other ad hoc requests.
    • Organise all office and social events, functions and meetings, including venues, food, transportation and communication with the necessary people. Chair and facilitate employee social groups inhouse, which organise social and charitable events.
    • Responsible for meeting/greeting visitors to the office, ensuring they have signed in as appropriate.
    • Responsible for booking travel for the Managing Director as well as other members of the Senior Leadership Team and retail colleagues from time to time.
    • Diary management and coordination, ensuring that all meetings are updated and organised in a timely manner. You will be required to liaise with relevant Personal Assistants from time to time.
    • Responsible for submitting expenses
    • Assisting with paperwork and pre-reading where necessary
    • Distributing post to relevant parties
    • Assist Finance team as required, including sending supplier invoices when received to accounts payable.
    • Project and event management.

    Responsibilities

    Experience Required:

     

    • 2 Years minimum Office Management/Administration Experience
    • Excellent organisational and Diary Management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Strong administration skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi task
    • Proactive and driven, challenges the status quo to gain efficiencies Tech savvy - familiarity with Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and MS Office would be beneficial
