The Pricing Strategy Controller  will be responsible for the improvement of our responsiveness to marketplace conditions and define net price targets based on Gross Margin targets and RMI, FX and  Marketing inputs. Additionally, the role will be responsible for setting prices and rules and monitor outcomes, FX and  RMI. The Pricing Strategy Controller will alert upper management of deviations from targets and change of market variables (RMI, FX…) and provide price analysis and impact on GM (waterfall, gross to net) to Lines of Businesses and geographies. The incumbent  will serve as the financial consultant to the IT Divison’s  Vice President of Pricing & Operations and team, as well as partner with other finace team memebers to drive continual improvement in operational performance through the provision of high quality financial analysis, financial modelling, business case evaluation and financial approval & process support to various lines of businesses.


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equvilent education and experience
  • MBA or other relevant Masters/Advanced degree highly preferred
  • At least 8-10 years experience in finance and/or accounting at a managerial level. Relevant experience with  pricing controlling and  strategy, within  a strong service and solutions oriented operations is  strongly desired.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel and other related PC applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex international and multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with stakeholder at various levels of the organization
  • Exceptional influencing skills and demonstrated ability to achieve results in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good problem solving skills/Highly developed ability to apply sound judgment as well as logical/critical thought processes to decisions


·         Support Pricing Strategy Operations team

o    Liaise with LOB and Regional Finance

·         Monitor, control/propose/improve pricing strategy and policies that will drive current strategy

o    Sales Growth

o    Gross Margin Preservation/Growth

o    Market share /products

·         Assist in the analysis and evaluation of product pricing vs market

o    Competitor benchmarking

·         Price forecast

o    Delta-P forecast management

o    Analytics for “what if” scenario planning to optimize profitability

·         Align/support LOBs on costing and establish pricing for new items

·         Review post launch to ensure costs are in line with assumptions

·         Lead and facilitate pricing reviews with LOB, Regions/Zones, Pricing Ops, Finance, GSC, Channel

o    Ensure pricing actions are executed timely

·         Report/Analyze the “marketing cost envelope” to understand total cost to sell

·         Review pricing in our non-core Digital Services and Data Center Software (DSDCS) business with intent to help GM to position product effectively across the globe
